We’ve been going here for the last 20 years. The venue itself is as good as ever. The menu has stayed largely the same which is not a bad thing, and the service is always above average.

Where it’s falling down is on the quality of the food. Overall quality has dropped across the board. Our oysters were dry and tasted less than fresh. They also didn’t come with any of the expected accoutrements. Our fish tacos were largely the same story. This is a theme not a singular experience. Hope they pay a bit more attention to detail, you can’t hang your hat solely on the beautiful location.

One more suggestion. Do not solicit your patrons for votes in a “best of” contest at the end of a subpar meal. It just makes the experience worse.

You’re a cherished local institution, don’t get complacent.
